Perth Sailing Club Race Report 12092012

A great sailing breeze tonight. Enough to make it fast but not so much anyone fell in.
Robin Macarthur and Doug Ogilvie made an early start and had to return. Bill Inches and Audrey Robertson crossed the line first but were not far enough ahead of the slower boats in race one.
Robin and Doug led in race two but took mark B the wrong way and had to correct their mistake, allowing John Ferguson to take a lead which was held to the finish.
The ebbing tide started to make rounding the marks tricky requiring some nifty steering to avoid touching and taking a penalty turn.
