Learn To Sail Course 2012 at Perth Sailing Club

For several years, Perth Sailing Club has been running Learn To Sail Course from our base on the River Tay just south of Perth.

Our Instructors are all very experienced sailors and are very good at teaching all ages and abilities how to sail.

The course is run over a week with some class room time but the real focus is to get the students onto the water for as much hand on sailing experience as possible.

The learning is tailored to the student's ability and there is of course full safety and first aid cover.

By the end of the weeks course, the students will be able to sail competently in a two person boat such as a Wanderer or a Firefly.

At the end of the course, the students will be assessed by a visiting RYA Instructor and all being well, the students will be awarded their RYA 1 & 2 Sailing Certificates.

The course will be running on these dates with the times given as the start times. We would suggest that students arrive 30 mins before so they can get changed into their sailing gear.
